@lantic Tuinroete puts Vox Supafone on our doorstep

Vox Telecom did extensive research into global trends to find what would best suit the South African market – and the result of this the Vox Supafone is now available in George. 

Thanks to the establishment of @lantic Tuinroete this development, the Siemens Gigaset, is now on our doorstep. Siemens is one of the world leaders in Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telephone (DECT) technology. 

According to Vox they have been working extensively with Siemens in Germany to produce a unit that is not only geared for the current SA market, but with Hi Definition (HD) voice quality inherently built in so they are ready to take advantage of this when the networks are able to. 

The new phone is branded as the Vox Supafone and comes with the base station and handset. 

The Supafone is very easy to install. It simply plugs into the customer’s existing router and all that is then required is to enter the activation code for the unit, which the customer will receive via e-mail. This can be done via the handset itself and does not require a PC.
