Parliamentary committee visits George

The Standing Committee on Transport and Public Works (SCOTPW) of the Western Cape Government paid a visit to George on Tuesday 25 July 2017.

The delegates have visited the provincial traffic centre and was taken on a tour of the George Link bus depot after a multimedia presentation at the George Civic Centre on the development and current status of the GO GEORGE bus service.

The Committee’s day in George concluded with a bus ride through some of the areas currently serviced by GO GEORGE.


PARLEMENTêRE KOMITEE BESOEK GEORGE

Die staande komitee vir vervoer en openbare werke van die Wes-Kaapse regering het George op Dinsdag 25 Julie 2017 besoek. Die afgevaardigdes het die provinsiale verkeersentrum besoek en is op ’n toer deur die George Link-busdepot geneem na ’n multimedia-aanbieding by die Burgersentrum oor die ontwikkeling van GO GEORGE en die huidige status van die busdiens. Die komitee se dag in George is afgesluit met ‘n busrit deur van die gebiede wat reeds deur die GO GEORGE-busdiens bedien word.
