Eskom Power System Emergency has been declared.  George will be off from 08:00 to 10:30 and 16:00 to 18:30.  Oudtshoorn will be affected between 14:00 & 16:30 and again from 22:00 till 23:00.  The Garden Route is to move away from red-tape and towards a red carpet for skills development.  The Western Cape Minister finds no fault with the Knysna Municipal Planning Tribunal or the appointment of Director: Planning and Development.  The Official launch of SA’s first Solar Desalination Plant in Witsand.  Heidelberg is looking for SA’s biggest pumpkin.  Update on the Great Brak River roadworks. 

Mesuli Vuba will make his debut for SWD against Easterns this weekend.  This weekend’s SWD Cricket and Schools League fixtures.  The George Disability Awareness Charity Golf Day was a huge success.
