The 2016 SWD Academy Intake during the launch of the Academy are:
SWD Cricket presented a very successful KFC Provincial Mini Cricket Seminar at Fancourt in George on Saturday. The topic of the seminar – COME HOME TO KFC MINI CRICKET – was attended by 110 delegates; including the CSA National Coordinator, Mr David Mokopanele and Brain Radebe from Playmakers.
The Oudtshoorn region received the award as KFC Mini Cricket region of the year for 2015/16. The criteria used include general management of matches, matches played, coaching programs as well as meetings held and general administration).
The 2016 Sanlam Cancer Challenge, South Africa’s biggest charity golf drive for the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA), is already well on track to shattering its previous fundraising record. More than 65 members attended a cricket umpires training course that was presented by Cricket South Africa and South Western Districts Cricket at Oudtshoorn. Clifford Isaacs and Faizel Samsoodien, both umpires from the CSA Umpires panel, were presenters.
