Major upgrades on Mall and Park Road will impact on George road users for the next few weeks until Easter.  The refuse collection schedule for the coming public holiday has been released by the George Municipality.  Africa Skills Village, the well-known Private College in the Technical Vocational Education and Training band, with its head office based in George, won a prestigious award at the recent National Skills Conference and Awards.  Planned power outage – 2 small holdings in Wilderness Heights  WEDNESDAY 20 MARCH FROM 08:30 TO 16:00.  Knysna Executive Mayor, Mark Willemse handed over a total of R1.3 million in Grant-in-Aid donations to 74 local charitable organisations on Wednesday, 13 March.

Mossel Bay (169/8) defeated Western Hope (110/9) by 57 runs in a match that was reduced after heavy fog caused bad light at the Van Riebeeck Stadium to record a 57 runs bonus victory.  The promotion league champion, Thembalethu (113 all out) caused a minor upset when they defeated Pacaltdorp United (101 all out) by 12 runs in a nail-biting contest.
