SWD Athletes excel at Interprovincial Cross Country Meeting

Athletics SWD and DECTI Raising-the-bar presented a successful Interprovincial Cross Country Meeting on Saturday 20 August 2011 at Olympia School, Pacaltsdorp. Seven teams (Athletics SWD, SWD Schools, Athletics Griqualand West, Boland Athletics, BolandSchools, Western Province Athletics and Western Province Schools) participated against each other over the weekend. The weather was ideal for Cross Country and several great performances was achieved. Congratulations to all the athletes that participated. A hearty thank you to our sponsor and all the various role-player that made the day so successful.

Athletics SWD will announce their team on 5 September 2011 – they will participate at the ASA Cross Country Championships in Bloemfontein on 17 September 2011.
