For all the athletes not entered for the marathon and who are interested in social running – we have organized a 5km fun run on Sunday 5 February 2012 at 07:00. The race will start in Lang Street. This will give all the runners the opportunity to be part of the SA Marathon experience and also see some of South Africa’s top marathon runners in action.
Anyone interested in running the 5km fun run can join us on race day at 06:30 for registration (Lang Street) or contact Joinel Korunna (073 682 9052) for pre-entries. Registration is free for all 5km runners.
ASA Medals will be available for the first 350 finishers. Small hand-outs will also be distributed. Good quality prizes will be available for the first 5 junior boys and girls. Various lucky draws from Top Gear Sport, Tekkie Town and African Bank to be won.
