Distances: 25/30/20 km
Pairs Pre-Entry Fee: R1980 per Team (R990 per person). Racers must pay entry fee as a Team to secure booking. Entry fee must be paid within 3 days of entering, otherwise your Booking will be cancelled and your spot given to the next paying Pair. International athletes entry fee: USD 500.
Solo runners Entry fee: R1500 per person.
Pre-entries close: 15 April 2012 (or when 300 Pairs reached). In the event of less than 300 Pairs, Late Entries will be accepted until 20 April at R2280 per Team (no race apparel).

- 3 day challenge in the unspoilt beauty of the Garden Route. Each day will be unique in that Day 1 will take competitors on a challenging 25km route into the Outeniqua Mountains. Day 2 will be something completely different – 30km of spectacular trails through beautiful Indigenous Forests. Day 3 will conclude with a 20km trail on our spectacular coast line. It is important to book accommodation ASAP as this Event takes place over a long weekend, and other guests will also be booking ahead of time. Race Registration: Thursday 26 April from 17h00 – 20h00 at Pine Lake Marina. All racers must register in this time.
On Registration Day, all runners will complete the registration process, which includes completing and submitting the Participant Waiver & disclaimer forms. Before registration, review important race documents, including the Participant Waiver. During registration, you will receive your race package. Please check that all items are enclosed – you will sign receipt of this.
Runners must please remember to present some sort of photo identification document (driver’s license, passport or ID book) as proof of identity. Runners have to register together, and no late registrations will be allowed. If a team has not registered, they will not be allowed to start.
How to get there:
Pine Lake Marina is situated in one of the most beautiful spots in The Garden Route National Reserve, surrounded by mountains and the Swartvlei Lake. Swimming-beaches are close by and the area offers an abundance of activities to enjoy from Mountain Biking to Paragliding. There are amazing views all the way around and the resort provides the perfect location for a family holiday and we offer a widest range of activities to cater for every taste!
How to get there from Airport:
Road and air transfers can be arranged on request.
The George Airport is approximately 50 minutes drive (45kms):
• Follow the N2 towards Wilderness and then Sedgefield
• Continue for approx 35kms until you reach the Swartvlei Turnoff on your left
• Travel for 1kms on the tarred road to the Pinelake Marina gates on your right.
Race Briefing: Thursday 26 April at 20h00 in Cutty Sark restaurant; Pine Lake Marina. Attendance is compulsory, as vital information regarding the race, will be given.
Race starting times: On race day from 08h00. Athletes will be transported to starting venues each day (short driving distance)

Please ensure that you have the compulsory equipment with you at all times during Race conditions – it is for your own safety. Equipment will be checked, and Teams risk time penalties or disqualification if they do not adhere to these precautions. Decisions of the Race Director will be final.
Start/Finish venues: Each day will have different start & finishing venues. Day 1 will be a Berg/Mountainous run; Day 2 a Bush run (Indigenous Forest) and the final day will be a Beach (Coastline) run. At the end of each day we will come together at Cutty Sark (PLM) for the daily Prize Giving; Slide Show; meal and sharing of war stories.

Prize Giving: There will be a festive prize giving at end of each day for Stage winners and other categories. Final prize giving Function with lunch on Sunday at 13h00.
Prize Money: Total prize purse of R20 000 to be divided for various Pairs Categories. Lots of other prizes; spot prizes and other goodies from our great Sponsors. No prize money for the Solo runners.
