Ride the Rhythm at the Bay Harbour Market This Weekend

The Bay Harbour Market in Hout Baycomes alive this weekend with an eclectic mix of jazz, blues and everything in between.

Friday night LIVE! kicks off on April 27 with the sounds of accomplished acoustic guitarist David Bagnall. As a trader, David is no stranger to the Bay Harbour Market. His distinctive music combines an assortment of instrumental layers that is bound to leave audiences suitably impressed. Following David on the Brampton Sound Stage is internationally renowned composer and musician Chris Tokalon. He’ll be joined by a collection of talented musicians who are sure to take the audience on a sound journey of weird and wonderful instrumentation.

On Saturday, April 28, 7-piece contemporary jazz band Just Friendz brings their engaging, high energy show to the Bay Harbour Market, Hout Bay. From old –school R&B classics to modern, upbeat dance tracks, Just Friendz are sure to get a few feet tapping.

Bringing the weekend to a close on Sunday April 29 is indie blues maestro David Knowles. Having spent some time in the UK developing his sound, David infuses a percussive edge to his acoustic guitar playing that is truly unique. In a style which often tends towards instrumentalism, he moves from high falsettos to bluesy growls with melodies that transcend and bind their underlying guitar work.

The Bay Harbour Market, Hout Bay also offers arts, crafts, fashion, decor and delicious cuisine.
