Three medals for the ASWD team at the SA 10km Championships

Athletics SWD send a team of 25 athletes to participate at this year’s SA 10km Championships that was held on19 May 2012inKimberley. Zindile Ngeva (Nedbank Running Club) was our first male athlete home with a time of 32.26. Our ladies did extremely well with Annatjie Botes winning the Silver Medal (43.42) and Annemarie VD Westhuizen the Bronze Medal (45.53), both from Nedbank Running Club, in the 50 – 59 age group. Esther Oosthuizen (Hartenbos Drawwers) won the Silver Medal (48.43) in the 60 – 69 year category.
