The third intake of the SWD Cricket Board which started in April this year and that will run until September when the intake will conclude with the Cricket South Africa Academies week that will be hosted in Oudtshoorn between 10 and 13 September 2012 are:

SWD TO HOST NATIONAL GIRLS U/19 TOURNAMENT
The South Western Districts will host the Cricket South Africa National Girls U/19 week in Oudtshoorn over the period 12-17 December 2012. During the pre-tournament visit by a CSA delegation were (from the left): Rudi Claassen (President SWD Cricket Board), Niels Momberg (CSA Manager Youth Cricket), Jonathan Carelse (Chairperson of SWD Schools Cricket and Chairperson of the Local Organising Committee) and Johan Weyers (SWD Manager Amateur Cricket). SWD also hosted this event in 2007.
