The SWD Coaching Department ran a CSA Level 2 Coaching Course over the weekend of the 31 August – 2 September at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn for 10 Level 1 coaches wishing to be accredited as a CSA Level 2 coach. These coaches form part of the SWD Coaches forum and are an integral part of the talent development pipeline in the region. The course was run by SWD Head Coach and Coaching Manager Garry Hampson.
Coaches were challenged and exposed to new coaching ideas on a far more technical and practical level and they will complete their coaching certificates with a written exam and practical evaluation in the coming weeks.
