Kurland Hotel Scoops Multiple Accolades at the CXPRESS Garden Route Culinary Awards 2012

Monday 26 November 2012 – The 5-star Kurland Hotel, situated in The Crags near Plettenberg Bay, and a proud member of the Relais & Châteaux Association, has scooped multiple accolades at this year’s CXPRESS Garden Route Culinary Awards 2012 for its Kurland Hotel restaurant. 

Accolades received are – listed in the ‘Top 20 Culinary Destinations 2012’, ‘Best of 2012’ for Best Service – and nominations in the ‘Gastro Nomix Chef of the Year’ and ‘Ordre Mondial Wine Steward of the Year’ categories for Executive Chef, Leon Coetzee, and Andile ‘Ace’ Tambo respectively.

The judging panel was headed by Bailli Délegué of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs South Africa Francois Ferreira, and Garden Route foodie extraordinaire Anne Hadley.
