Athletics South Africa (ASA) has once again awarded the SA Marathon Championships to Athletics SWD. This year will be the third consecutive year we present this prestige event. The marathon will be held on Sunday 3 February 2013 at the SANDF Infantry School in Oudtshoorn. Oudtshoorn Municipality and the SA Masters Association has also come on board as partners. It will be a closed event and only athletes that comply with the ASA qualification standards may be entered by their individual provinces. We are working hard on the last couple of weeks of preparation and are looking forward to the performances on the new route.
