The SWD Coaching Department will be running a Level I Coaching Course for all coaches who wish to further their coaching development at the Knysna Sports School (Knysna) and at Point High School (Mossel Bay) beginning this Friday afternoon at 3pm.
Aspirant coaches must meet the following requirements as stipulated by Cricket South Africa:
Be 18 years or older
Cricketers who have played 1st Class Cricket qualify to attend the course
Coaches must be actively coaching a team or individuals at present or be a registered member at a club affiliated to the SWD Cricket Board
Coaches must register with the Coaching Forum in their region (details available from the SWD Offices)

Friday afternoons 19 & 26 July 15:00pm – 18:00pm
Tuesday 23 & 30 July 17:30 – 20:30pm
Wednesday 24 July 17:30 – 20:30
Tuesday 13 August 18:00 – Level 1 Theory Exam
Practical assessments of coaches – dates to be arranged with individual coaches after the theory exam has been written
Coaches must attend ALL sessions
Venue: Knysna Sports School / Point High School (Mossel Bay)

Areas that you have struggled with when coaching your players that can be dealt with during the relevant sections during the course.
