This promises to be a day of fun and educational science activities for kids of all ages to participate in. Entry to the Expo is R20 a person, and includes entry to the Transport museum and a free R20 book of vouchers to be used at the various hands-on exhibitions throughout the day.

- Pulleys and Levers
- Mind Puzzles and challenges
- Investigative Displays
- DIY activities such as Make your own Alien Slime or Bath Bubbles
- Origami (paper folding) challenges
- Circuits
- Science investigations
- Bloodhound SSC Presentation
- Railway Society demonstrations (Model Trains)
Prizes are up for grabs at the challenge activities – so bring your friends along and see who can build the tallest tower, throw their jet the furthest or enjoy the amazing Stereograms—you can even make your own.
The Expo kicks off on Friday 2 August from 6pm, with a display by Anderson’s Martial Arts Academy. Their students will be demonstrating the ‘Science of Kickboxing’. Limited seats are available at R20 and tickets can be purchased ahead of time from Lion Hanlie on 072 906 2533.

A highlight of the expo will be the exhibit by PetroSA’s Centre of Excellence and their mobile lab – come and learn more about the processes that take place at the PetroSA site in Mossel Bay.
A live broadcast by EdenFM will take place between 10:00 and 13:00, so come and meet the team behind “Your Voice in Paradise”!
Come Hungry! Boerewors Rolls, Pancakes and various refreshments will be on sale … and …… especially for dad….. there will be a Daddy Daycare centre, as the premises is licensed and the bar will be open all day!
