SWD CRICKET BOARD UMPIRES COURSE

Cricket South Africa in conjunction with the SWD Cricket Board will present an umpire training course from the 13th to the15th September 2013. The course will be presented at the SWD Cricket Board Offices in Oudtshoorn.
It will commence at 18h00 on Friday through to 21h00. On Saturday proceedings will commence at 09h00 and will end at 17h00. On Sunday the start time will be the same and will continue until 15h00.
The course is open to anybody to attend and there is no minimum qualification required. The course is free and the SWD Cricket Board will provide accommodation for out of town umpires.
According to the President of the SWD Cricket Umpires Association, Mr Faizel Samsoodien, this course will offer new umpires an excellent opportunity to qualify as an umpire.
