Automation poses opportunity – not threat – to labour

With recent reports of job losses in various South African economic sectors – most notably manufacturing – labour unions are decrying the perceived negative effects of automation. But, says Alexander Mehlhorn, CEO of software development company Framework One, if your automation efforts are causing job losses, you’re doing it wrong.
