Athletics SWD recently announced their ASWD Road Race Walking dates for 2014. Athletes needs to compete in 3 (10km) or 2 (21.1km) trial events and the ASWD Road Race Walking Championships (27 September 2014) to be selected for our final team to participate at the National Championships in Cape Town on 11 October 2014.
Our trial dates are:
- 2 Nov 2013 – Coastline 10km (Trial 1)
- 21 Nov 2013 – Die Vlakte 21.1km (Trial 1)
- 22 Feb – Infantry School Cango 21.1km (Trial 2)
- 8 Mar – Tortoise Tuff 10km (Trial 2)
- 14 June – McDonalds 10km (Trial 3)
- 19 July – Beaufort West 21.1km (Trial 3)
- 20 Sep – Karoo 10km (Trial 4)
