After yet another frustrating weekend for club players in the SWD where no play was again possible the past weekend due to heavy rainfalls and wet conditions the Sedgars League competition of the SWD Cricket Board will continue this weekend.
Weather predictions for the weekend look fine and five matches in the premier league will be contested. On Saturday George will host Mossel Bay whilst NMMU will take on Mayflower at Great Brak River. The defending champions, Sussex will host Union Stars at D’Almeida whilst Pirates United will take on Harlequins Forces in Knysna. On Sunday Pacaltsdorp United will travel to Knysna where they will take on Pirates United.
