Athletics SWD honored a group of 14 athletes for their fantastic medal winning achievements at the SA Track and Field Championships. (SA Combined Events and Race Walking Championships was held in Germiston on 22 March 2013, SA Youth and Junior Championships was held in Pretoria on 4 April 2013, SA Senior Championships was held in Stellenbosch on 12 April 2013, CAA African Junior Championships was held in Mauritius on 2 September 2013 and the World Masters Championships in Brazil on 27 October 2013).
