Celebrate decadence in Durbanville with the all-new fabulously indulgent Cellarbake@Nitida wine pairing festival on Sunday 23 March 2014 from 11am to 7pm.
The multi-award winning family owned (and run) Nitida Farm, sister farm Môreson (Franschhoek) and Cassia Restaurant will be hosting 25 artisanal bakers showcasing their finest dishes paired perfectly with Nitida and Môreson wines.
This all-day event offers visitors a chance to sample a variety of food and wine pairings with a take-home Cellarbake@Nitida wine glass, live music, fantastic kids kitchen and ample innovative, creative and interesting activities for the whole family! Additional cakes, desserts, confectionaries, wines and other bake-themed goodies will be available for purchase at the venue.
“I’m hugely excited to be directing this exciting, bespoke food and wine event taking place in the gorgeous Durbanville valley. Baking isn’t just a hot trend, it’s becoming a cult and we need to align ourselves with global food trends and keep pushing our culinary boundaries. Cellarbake@Nitida will be doing just that!” Says well known South African foodie and event organizer, Tamsin Snyman.

Tickets are available through Webtickets at a cost of R100 per person. Free entry for all under 12 years, R50 entry for 12 – 18 years, which includes five food tastings (no alcohol included).
