With the Sedgars SWD Premier League competition that is approaching the play-off stage a few vital matches are scheduled for the weekend. NMMU and Union Stars, who are both without their SWD players, will play in a vital match at Saasveld on Saturday. Mayflower, who is currently facing relegation will host Sussex (on Saturday) and Pacaltsdorp (on Sunday) respectively whilst George will travel to Oudtshoorn where they will meet Harlequins Forces at the Military Sport Club. Mossel Bay will have to win Pirates in Knysna to in the run for a place in the semi-finals.
In the promotion league all eyes will be at Blanco where the home team and Thembalehu will log horns in a vital clash.
Union Stars B and Union Stars C will, as last season, battle it out for the honours in the reserve league final that will be played at the REC Ground on Saturday.
