The fixtures for the SWD Cricket Board Sedgars Premier League preliminary round will be concluded this weekend. If NMMU won both their last two matches they will finish on top of the log irrespective of the result of the Union Stars vs Pirates match – a match Pirates will need to win to avoid relegation.
If Mossel Bay lost against NMMU on Saturday the winner to the Mossel Bay versus Pirates fixture on Sunday will end forth and qualified for the semi-finals. Harlequins can consolidate their position for a place it the play-offs when they take on Mayflower at Great Brak River.
In the promotion league semi-finals Blanco will host Pioneers whilst Knysna Cavaliers will take on Thembalethu in Knysna. Besides a place in the final both finalist will advance to the Premier League.
