As part of this event, an Induction session was also scheduled and conducted by the ICT Unit. The main aim of this session was to inform and sensitise Councillors about the following two key issues, namely:

1. Eden’s Information Security Policy
2. The Eden’s Laptop Security Policy.

This initiative has as its sole objective of adhering to the Tools of the Trade Policy and was made possible by funding that was reserved and availed in the 2013/2014 municipal budget.
