The Cape of Good Hope Altima Sauvignon Blanc 2013, from the Anthonij Rupert Wyne portfolio, was selected as one of the Top 100 Wines in South Africa, held at a gala event on 10 April. Top 100 SA Wines is recognised as one of the leading fine wine competitions in South Africa and abroad, attracting significant Google ratings. The competition has proved to be extremely useful for winning vineyards, helping them to secure a larger and growing share of sales and brand awareness, both locally and internationally.
Released towards the end of 2013, the new flagship red wine from De Krans, the Tritonia, has recently been selected as one of the Top 100 Wines in South Africa at the 2014 Top 100 Wine Challenge. The wine is a unique Calitzdorp blend of three traditional port cultivars, namely Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barocca and Tinta Roriz.
The Lanzerac Mrs English 2011, a limited selection of the finest Chardonnay grapes the estate has to offer, has recently been selected as one of the Top 100 Wines in South Africa at the 2014 Top 100 Wine Challenge.
