Fast establishing itself as a food and wine destination the team in the Hartenberg kitchen have added an extra dose of love and care to their Mother’s Day inspired menu.
Sit down to freshly prepared Snoek Pâté, Olives, Home Baked Breads and Black Garlic Butter before you tuck into a hearty meal. For starters choose between a Leek and Potato Soup with Parsnip Crisp and Truffle Oil, or a deliciously fresh Salmon Trout Salad.
In keeping with the country cuisine enjoy a delectable Free Range Chicken Breast rolled around Basil Pesto, over Crushed Potato, and served with a Chardonnay Cream Sauce and Wild Mushrooms. A vegetarian option of a Wild Mushroom and Brie Tart is also available. End off what promises to be a memorable day with an Italian Meringue Pavolva or a local Artisan Cheese Board.
Each course will be served with a carefully paired Hartenberg wine. Sparkling grape juice will be available as an alternative.
Not forgetting the little people a special menu comprising a Homemade Beef Burger with hand cut Chips and a dessert of Cheesecake or Neapolitan Ice Cream, with a cool drink, will be available.
And as mom is the guest of honour on the day she will leave with a bottle of Hartenberg Noble Late Harvest as a gift.
