Cricket South Africa (CSA) in conjunction with the South Western Districts Cricket Board will conduct a training program for umpires during the weekends 26 and 27 July 2014 and 2 and 3 August 2014. The courses will be presented in Oudtshoorn.
The training course will ran over two consecutive weekends to prepared umpires for an upcoming course. Training will be free of charge and a law book will also be provided for candidates. The courses will provide an opportunity for umpires to write a higher level of examination and a refresher for existing umpires. It provided a further opportunity for umpires that do not have proof of their qualification achieved to rewrite the level that they achieved.
