The TransCape MTB is an endurance mountain bike stage race across the Western Cape in South Africa.
A full service, fixed route destination mountain bike race between Knysna and Stellenbosch

A 2 person team event with a total of 500 teams
Race direction will alternate annually, with the inaugural 2015 event departing from Knysna and ending in Stellenbosch. In 2016 the event will depart from Stellenbosch and end in Knysna, and so alternating annually.
The route will offer mountain bikers the opportunity to race across some of South Africa’s most famous mountain biking terrain, traversing many iconic mountain passes, coastal rainforests and semi arid Klein Karoo landscapes.
