As you take the Bottelary Road exit and make your way to the estate you are greeted with picture perfect views and quirky signboards which set the scene for your day out.

Kickstart your experience with a wine tasting which includes the award-winning wine The Stork Shiraz 2008 vintage which was voted the Best Shiraz in the World at the 2012 Syrah Du Monde Competition in France. The success at this competition continued in 2013 with a gold medal for the Gravel Hill 2008! Those preferring a white wine will love the Eleanor Chardonnay as well as the range of superb Rieslings on offer.

Regarded as a food and wine pairing destination, the cooks at Hartenberg have created an appetizing Father’s Day inspired menu, to be enjoyed with wines from the estate’s range, and which promises to be the Pièce de résistance for Dad’s special day.Enjoy a delicious Baby Marrow Soup topped with Feta and Baby Marrow Crisps or a Smoked Salmon Trout Salad, Cucumbers, Dill Crème Fraîche and Crispy Capers for starters. For main course enjoy finger licking Herbed Lamb Chops on Parmesan Mash with Balsamic Roasted Onion, Honeyed Butternut and Merlot Jus. End off with a choice of an Artisan Cheeseboard accompanied by a Melon Preserve or Sticky Toffee Pudding topped with Toffee Sauce for dessert. Children under 12 years can enjoy a Hamburger, Chips, Veggie and Cheese Skewer and Fruit Juice, with Ice-Cream or Cheesecake for dessert.
