Coca-Cola Craven Weeks kick off in Durban

The annual Coca-Cola® Rugby Youth Weeks festivals kick off a month of the best in schoolboy rugby, with the first tournament, the U13 Coca-Cola Craven Week, taking place at Glenwood High School in Durban from Monday, 30 June – Friday, 4 July.

The Coca-Cola® Rugby Youth Weeks take place annually and comprises of four age categorised rugby tournaments, namely the U13 Coca-Cola Craven Week, the U16 Coca-Cola® Grant Khomo Week, the U18 Coca-Cola® Academy Week and the U18 Coca-Cola® Craven Week, in which schoolboys representing their respective regions, compete against one another.

Now in its 51st year, the Coca-Cola Craven Week has become synonymous as the platform for showcasing the best in South African, up and coming, youth rugby talent and is the hunting ground for both national and provincial scouts.

The schedule for the Coca-Cola® Rugby Youth Weeks rugby tournaments is as follows:

  • U13 Coca-Cola Craven Week: Monday, 30 June – Friday, 4 July, at Glenwood High School, Durban, Kwazulu-Natal.
  • U16 Coca-Cola Grant Khomo Week: Monday, 7 July – Thursday, 10 July, at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), Pretoria, Gauteng.
  • U18 Coca-Cola Academy Week: Monday, 7 July – Thursday, 10 July, HTS Drostdy, Worcester, Western Cape.
  • U18 Coca-Cola Craven Week: Monday, 14 July – Friday, 19 July, at HTS Middelburg, Middelburg, Mpumalanga.
