Mediterranean Delicacies Gourmet Luncheon with the Drunken Tuscan

(Cape Town, June 2014) Celebrity Chef, Lapo Magni, also known as The Drunken Tuscan, hosted a Mediterranean Delicacies infused luncheon at the Cape Royale Luxury Hotel and Spa’s Villa Louise on Tuesday 24th June, 2014.

The Drunken Tuscan whipped up a Mediterranean inspired feast for his VIP guests at the luxury villa, showcasing exotic dishes like his speciality: Climaxing Risotto, where a three cheese risotto is infused with the Nitida Matriarch Chardonnay Pinot Noir MCC; followed by slow roasted lamb shanks stuffed with garlic, rosemary, Medi Deli Calamata olives, sun dried tomatoes and anchovies, with Tzatziki Royal served on the side.

Rounding off on a sweet note, the Drunken Tuscan fired things up with his homemade Pistachio Halva Ice Cream on a smoking display of dry ice. “I wanted to show my guests a fantastic gastronomic experience using gorgeous Mediterranean Delicacies ingredients, paired beautifully with exquisite Nitida wines, and what better venue than the Cape Royale Villas” says Lapo Magni.
