CASSIA HOSTS CHRISTMAS IN JULY FOR CHARITABLE CAUSE

(Cape Town, July 2014) This July Cassia Restaurant at Nitida Wine Farm in the Durbanville winelands is hosting a Christmas in July charity fundraiser for the Iris House Children’s Hospice.

The three course dinner-dance is being offered at R275.00 per person with R150.00 from each ticket sold being donated to this fantastic foundation; offering guests the opportunity to enjoy fabulous food prepared by Cassia’s French Chef Florent Hameau and his team, accompanied by gorgeous Nitida wines.

The festivities include a welcome drink upon arrival, Nitida wines on the tables, three course Christmas themed menu, goody bag, automatic entry into the raffle to win a night’s stay for two at the Crystal Towers five star hotel, lucky draws, auction and dance.

Mediterranean Delicacies Meets Those Who Wonder

(Cape Town, July 2014) As part of their pursuit to permeate numerous spheres of lifestyle and gastronomy, Mediterranean Delicacies pairs up with Salon 91 for the exhibition launch of Those Who Wonder, beginning July 25th, 2014.

The contemporary art collection comprises a collection of eight incredibly gifted young South African artists showcasing a multimedia mix of print, sculpture, drawing and painting. The theme draws on elements of misfits and outcasts exploring the wastelands of the chosen artists’ minds and our universe. Artists include: Gerhard Human, Ree Treweek, Daniël du Plessis, Jade Klara, Bruce Mackay, Jean de Wet, Hanno Van Zyl and Rikus Ferreira.

Commencing at 6:30pm guests may enjoy Mediterranean Delicacies’ delicious new Regal Range as well as gourmet tapas whilst perusing these unique pieces.
