Athletics SWD has the pleasure to announce that Shireen Noble was appointed as Team Leader of the IAAF World Junior Championships that will be held from 22 to 27 July 2014 in Eugene, Oregon (USA).
The team of 13 Boys, 11 Girls and 5 Team Management will depart today from Johannesburg and return on the 30th of July 2014.
The team also includes past ASWD Sportswoman Anél Oosthuizen, now representing Central Gauteng Athletics, in the 10km Walk.
We are looking forward to their participation and achievements during the Championships and wish them all the best. We trust that Shireen and Anél will keep the SA flag flying high.
