(Cape Town, July 2014) On Friday, 18 July 2014, the Cape Royale Luxury Hotel and Spa Management team grouped together for their 67 minutes of giving back to the community for Mandela Day.
With 67 lunch parcels the team headed out to disseminate the food packs to homeless and other less fortunate Cape Town inhabitants. Additionally, 67 copies of the Big Issue were purchased from various vendors throughout the area, which were subsequently offered to guests upon check in at the hotel later that afternoon.
“We continuously strive to assist in improving the lives and education of our in-house staff, today we took the opportunity to give back to the community at large in our neighbourhood, in honour of Mandela Day and the immense good that Tata Mandela stood for in his courageous and positively revolutionary life which he dedicated to the people of his country,” says Cape Royale Luxury Hotel and Spa MD, Johann du Plessis.
