The Sedgars Premier League competition of the SWD Cricket Board will kick-off this weekend with all ten clubs in action. The defending champions, NMMU will travel to Knysna where they will take on Pirates United.
Both the newcomers, Thembaletu and Blanco, who were promoted to the Premier league, will have home ground advantage when they take on George and Sussex respectively. Mossel Bay, who recruited the services on Sammy-Joe Avontuur, Erinn Ewerts and Siya Simethu will travel to Oudtshoorn where they will take on Harlequins Forces at the Military Sport Club.
Union Stars will have two important fixtures. They will host Pacaltsdorp United on Saturday and travel to Saasveld where they will take on NMMU.
