In a weekend that produced interesting results in the Sedgars SWD Premier League Harlequins, Pacaltsdorp and Pirates – who all recorded victories – strengthen their positions on the log.
Harlequins (315 all out) defeated Blanco (133 all out) by 182 runs and in the process recorded full match points as was the case with Pacaltsdorp United (59/4) who defeated Sussex (58) by 6 wickets.
Pirates United (117 all out) recorded a surprise 13 runs victory against Mossel Bay (104 all out). All three the scheduled matches for Sunday were abandoned due to rain and wet conditions.

A second consecutive century by Warren Malgas (130; 20×4) against Ladismith (280) ensured that Western Hope (355) maintained their unbeaten record with a victory of 75 runs. Malgas, who also scored a century the previous weekend followed it up with and innings of 64 on Sunday to ensure a resounding 157 runs victory for Western Hope (252 all out) against Bongolethu (95).
Riversdale (403/9) also maintained their unbeaten status when they defeated Kwanonqaba (80 all out) by 323 runs. Ramblers (233/7) remain in a good position on the log after they defeated Mayflower (120 all out) by 113 runs.
