Jägermeister presents Up the Creek 2015 – it`s a festival:
29 January – 1 February 2015, Breederiver, Swellendam
25th Birthday – Party like you own it!
“Join in the fellowship of musical delight!”
Jeepers dear fun-loving Creekers, round up your besties and pour that bubbly: we are turning 25 years old this year! To warm up for the festivities, local comedian, model and festival activist, Anne Hirsch, takes an “illuminating yet unnerving” look at one of the most delicate underground bio-systems: music and camping. Click here and….take it away Anne!
The line up for 2015 is nothing short of some of the best live acts that South Africa currently has to offer. There will be 3 stages and again, as always, no sets will be overlapping, ensuring that you will be able to see all the bands/artists that you would love to see.
We are also introducing the MK jam-van: leading Creekers, as the Pied Piper once did with the rats, down to the Sedgwicks River stage, back up to the Hunters stage and across to the Jagermeister Main stage. The MK jam-van will entertain Creekers throughout the weekend. Whether between two bars, at the festival gate, down on the riverbank or even half way up `that` hill, nothing will seem impossible. You can expect to enjoy live performances atop the van`s rooftop stage and a bevy of DJs from within the van`s belly providing Creekers with on-going tricks and impromptu informal shows.
Your 2015 Up The Creek line up:
Zebra & Giraffe, Taxi Violence, Beatenberg , AKING, Dave Ferguson, Bye Beneco, Shortstraw, Hot Water, The Black Cat Bones, The Kiffness, The Ballistics, Stoker, Red Huxley, Scicoustic, Piet Botha & The Lyzyrd Kyngs, Gerald Clark, Mean Black Mamba, Manny Walters, Basson Laubscher, John Wizards, Al Bairre, Christian Tiger School, Gateway Drugs, Manouche, Grassy Spark, Nomadic Orchestra, December Streets, Shaun Jacobs Band, Diamond Thug, Rubber Duc, Bandolero, Ozone, Naming James, Qadasi, Sawagi (JPN) and Kite Rider.
