Dear Friends of the Environment,
the year is in full swing again…and so are we!
The January Newsletter gives amongst other information details of our first event this year which takes place on Saturday 24th January – something very different – don’t miss hearing about indigenous knowledge……
WESSA Eden Newsletter Jan 2015
There are a few places left on the iSpot course on 21 & 22 January…
You will also find attached information on Bugweed – a most unwelcome invasive plant.
Hopefully amongst your Resolutions is one to recycle and reuse more than in the past year….
To help you achieve this, I attach a flyer from Interwaste to give you more details on what CAN now be recyled in the Blue Bags.
Basically any plastic that is clean can be dealt with in some way by them – including styropor & tetrapacks (milk & juice boxes) ….
Finally, do make note of our “commercial” promoting the new “Loads o’Local shop at 3 Wellington Street…….
Feel free to forward to others.
Regards,
Christine Ridge-Schnaufer
