Waldo Lategan (466 runs; 42.90 average) was SWD’s top first class batsman of the season while GurshwinRabie – with 41 wickets – were the most successful bowler.
Lategan, who scored a century (138*) and two half centuries, finishes 16th on the list of top averages during the past season. He is also the fifth highest run scorer in the history of SWD cricket – 2271 (average of 34).
Rabie, who bagged the third most wickets in the competition this season is 15th on the bowling averages (at 20.8 with a best bowling performance of 5/41). Rabie is by far the most successful SWD first class bowler in history with 202 wickets after 47 matches.
Lyndon Volkwyn however, with 22 wickets at an average of 18.13 finishes 8th on the national averages.
