Moses Gericke was re-elected as the President of Athletics SWD (ASWD) at the Annual General Meeting that was held in George on Saturday 28 March 2015.

The newly elected board will stand until 2017. Elections were held for positions on the Executive Board (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Chairpersons of the Cross Country, Race Walking, Road Running and Track & Field Commissions) and Vice Chairpersons of the various commissions.
The elections were held in accordance with the ASWD Constitution and under the scrutiny of Mr. Jean Neethling (Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport Regional Office) and Mr. Desmond Speelman (Chairperson of Eden Sport Council).
