A slightly wooded, richly textured and outspoken, fruity wine with spicy flavours, the Jason’s Hill Shiraz 2012, is just what you want to be sipping and savouring this winter.

Fifth-generation winemaker, Ivy du Toit says that the wine’s almost smoky finish, typical of this noble cultivar, allows for perfect maturation potential. A previous Gold Medal winner at the International Michelangelo Wine Awards, as well as a Gold Wine Award recipient, this wine is best enjoyed on its own or with hearty soul food such as Lamb curry, casseroles and game dishes.

Available directly off the farm at R55 per bottle and most retail outlets nationwide.

Jason’s Hill Private Cellar is tucked away in the heart of the Boland at the foot of the Slanghoek Mountains. With its fertile soil and Mediterranean climate the very best of grapes are produced for making award-winning wines.
