Father’s Day Celebration with Anthonij Rupert & Franschhoek Motor Museum

anthobie-rupert21 June 2015

Spoil dad this Father’s Day with an unforgettable day out to Anthonij Rupert Wyne in the breathtaking Franschhoek Wine Valley where he can relax, unwind and enjoy being the centre of attention for the day.

Dad’s experience starts at the world-famous Franschhoek Motor Museum in the magnificent setting of L’Ormarins Estate. He (and we’re sure the rest of the family too) will be wowed by the unique and vast collection of vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and memorabilia on display. Vintage cars include a 1903 Ford and a 1935 Rolls Royce, whilst fans of the more modern luxurious cars can look forward to catching a glimpse of a 2002 Ferrari or the 2003 Mercedes Benz CLK DTM AMG. As an added extra, on Father’s day several vehicles will have their bonnets open and engines on display.

From there travel by tram along a scenic route for a wine tasting and delicious Antipasti lunch at the Terra del Capo Tasting Room. The tasting room which has been designed for complete relaxation is home to the Terra del Capo and Protea wine ranges, both made for early enjoyment and perfect to enjoy on their own or with food.

Treat Dad’s taste buds to a selection of only the best locally sourced and artisanal ingredients from the Franschhoek Valley, which includes organically grown vegetables, handmade Italian cheeses and charcuterie, whilst succulent marinated olives and rustic artisan breads complete the picture.

Catch the return shuttle to the Franschhoek Motor Museum before heading home with one every happy dad.

The tailor made Father’s Day Celebration package costs R280 per person and kids under 12 pay R120 each. Your experience includes the wine tasting, lunch, tram drive and motor museum visit.
