The NMMU Madibaz, who is still unbeaten defeated George by 143 runs on Saturday and on Sunday beat Harlequins Forces by 99 runs. Johandré Barnard (122) scored the first century of the season in NMMU’s victory against George.
Harlequins (107 all out) on Saturday defeated Blanco (94 all out) by 15 runs whilst Sussex (54/3) got their season on track with an impressive seven wicket victory over Pacaltsdorp United (50 all out). Godfrey Plaatjies (4/28) and Nathan Murray (25*) excelled for Sussex.
