Mossel Bay and Pacaltsdorp United kept their hopes for a place in the semi-final round of the Sedgars SWD Premier League competition alive with victories against Sussex and George respectively. Union Stars (258/6), thanks to a fine batting display by Jean Heunis (78) and Brendon Louw (71) defeated Blanco (97 all out) by 161 runs and remain in the second position on the log.

Mossel Bay (141/5) successfully chased down the winning runs in the 46th over after they dismissed Sussex for 140. Jaco Fourie (44) made a useful contribution with the ball for Mossel Bay. Kevin Damons (47) and Michael Eksteen (43) excelled with the bat to help Pacaltdorp to post 166 (all out). George replied with 129 against a fine bowling display by Daniel Koert (3/28), Clinton Meintjies (2/25) and Byron Botha 2/29 as Pacaltsdorp was victorious by 37 runs.
