Pirates United boosted their chances for a place in the semi-finals of the Sedgars SWD Premier league when they recorded two impressive victories the past weekend.
On Saturday, the Knysna based team posted 258/7 against Blanco (80 all out) to record a 178 run victory and on Sunday they defeated Harlequins (135 all out) by 5 wickets as they reached the target in the 30th over with 5 wickets in hand.
Pacaltsdorp United were also victorious against Harlequins with a well-deserved 6 wicket victory whilst Union Stars (beat George by 34 runs) and Sussex (beat Western Hope by 4 wickets) also recorded vital victories
