RESULTS IN PROMOTION-, RESERVE AND WOMEN’S COMPETITION
Riversdale (116/8), on Saturday, secured the top position in Pool B of the Promotion league competition when they defeated Thembalethu (115 all out) by 2 wickets. Thembalethu will however be still in the run for a place in the semi-finals.
The round robin phase of the reserve league and women’s league was also concluded the past weekend. The defending champions, Union Stars ‘C’ will take on Sussex ‘B’ at Bridgton and Ramblers ‘B’ will log horns with Western Hope ‘B’ at the Rosemoore Stadium.
The Union Stars women’s team will defend their title in the Women’s competition when take on Mossel Bay at the REC Ground in Oudtshoorn.
