Sanlam Top Destination Awards 2016, powered by Discount Traveler, is a platform to not only showcase but honour those in the Hospitality Industry.
From hotels, game lodges and guest houses to bed & breakfast establishments, self-catering as well backpackers and caravan and camping parks. The Sanlam Top Destination Awards will place recognition where it’s rewarded.
Voting has officially opened as of the 1st of March 2016 and consumers are encouraged to vote for their favourite top destination. Vote on Discount Traveler.co.za or Top Destination Awards.com and finalists are then identified per town and per region against an internal set of criteria. These finalists will advance to the Gala Awards Ceremony where a total of 40 establishments will emerge as winners and will be crowned, “Sanlam Top Destination Awards Winner 2016”. Voting closes on the 30th of June.
The Gala Awards Ceremony will be held at the prestigious venue, The Rotunda at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay on Tuesday, 6 September 2016, encompassing an African Elegance theme resonated throughout the night. Guests and finalists attending will enjoy welcome drinks and canapes on arrival, followed by a delicious three course meal prepared by The Bay Hotel’s award winning Chef Warwick King and his team.
The awards are all about rewarding hard work and dedication within the Hospitality Industry as well as creating awareness of establishments and acknowledging each individual and team effort that is put in, to ensure the Hospitality Industry is operating at its best and fulfilling consumer needs.
The title sponsor of the awards is none other than Sanlam, which has supported the Top Destination Awards from its inception in 2015.
