Union Stars, the club champion from SWD, had their best run ever when they won three out of their five matches at the Cricket South Africa Momentum National Club Championships that took place in Pretoria the past week.
They recorded impressive victories against Maties, the defending champions Crusaders as well as the Central University of Technology. Brendon Louw was their top batsman whilst the bowling twins of Marcello Piedt and Otneill Baartman excelled with the ball.
