Advert Ref nr : S2016-03
PIPE FITTER / BOILERMAKER
Requirements (must):
- At least five (5) years welding experience
- Working on small bore (1/2” to 1 ½”) as well as big bore piping.
- Knowledge of different piping symbols used on Isometrics drawings.
- Be able to read and understand Isometrics drawings.
- Know the different pipe fittings and how to work out dimensions.
- Knowledge of all safety regulations regarding welding and grinding during fabrication
- Use of industry tool and equipment i.e. grinders and cutting torch.
- Knowledge of Generals Safety requirements for Chemical and Petrochemical plants.
- Pass medical examination and client safety induction training.
- Pass competency test prior to being employed
- Must work to high standard as all work will be inspected and released by a QC inspector.
- Be able to work in Confined spaces and at heights
- Must be able to get to work at PDPS workshop or client site with own transport.
- Could be required to work shifts.

DOUBLE CODED WELDER
Requirements (must):
- At least five (5) years welding experience
- Must be a certified Coded Welder.
- Knowledge of different Welding Procedures Specifications and techniques..
- Must be able to weld Stainless steel and carbon steel in all positions.
- Knowledge of different welding consumables.
- Welding of small bore (1/2” to 1 ½”) as well as big bore piping.
- Knowledge of all safety regulations regarding welding equipment and grinding during fabrication.
- Use of industry tool and equipment i.e. welding machines and grinders.
- Knowledge of General Safety requirements of Chemical and Petrochemical plants.
- Pass a medical examination and client safety induction training.
- Must work to a high standard as all welding will be inspected and released by a QC Inspector.
- Pass a welding competency test prior to being employed.
- Be able to work in Confined spaces and at heights.
- Must be able to get to work at PDPS workshop or client site with own transport.
- Could be required to work shifts.
